Online GLB viewer
Drop a GLB or glTF. See it in 3D with its size and triangle count, then convert it for printing.
Runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
How to use it
1Drop the GLB
A .glb file, or a .gltf. Models from Meshy, Tripo, Blender exports and web scenes all work.
2Turn it in 3D
Drag to orbit and scroll to zoom. glTF is Y up, so the viewer stands it upright; switch Z up on if a file was made for printing.
3Check the numbers
Size in millimetres, volume, surface area and triangle count, so you know what you are about to print or send.
4Convert if you need to
Save a screenshot, or open the GLB to STL converter to scale it to millimetres for your slicer.
To open a GLB file online, drop it on the viewer above. It shows the model in 3D with its size, volume, surface area and triangle count, in your browser, with nothing installed and nothing uploaded. .gltf files open the same way.
Metres, millimetres and slicers
The glTF specification measures in metres with Y up. A figure that is 80 mm tall is stored as 0.08. The viewer reads it that way and shows 80 mm. A slicer does not: it reads an STL's numbers as millimetres, so a GLB exported straight to STL can arrive 1,000 times too small. The GLB to STL converter multiplies by 1,000 and turns the model Z up, the way slicers read STL.
AI-generated GLB models
Image to 3D and text to 3D tools usually deliver GLB. Before printing one, check three things here: the triangle count (very dense meshes slow slicers down), the overall proportions, and whether the model looks closed. Then convert it, repair it if the converter reports open edges, and give it a flat base or exact size in the Depthue Studio STL editor, which also checks overhangs and thin walls.
Other viewers
STL, OBJ, 3MF and PLY open in the online STL viewer, and CAD files in the STEP viewer.
Questions
How do I open a GLB file?
Drop it on the viewer above. It opens in your browser on any computer, with nothing to install and nothing uploaded. Windows 3D Viewer, the old default, left the Microsoft Store on July 1, 2026.
What is a GLB file?
GLB is binary glTF, a single file that holds a 3D scene: meshes, materials, textures and sometimes animation. It is common on the web, in AR and from AI 3D generators such as Meshy and Tripo.
What is the difference between GLB and glTF?
They are the same format. A .glb packs everything into one binary file; a .gltf is a text file that usually points to a separate .bin with the geometry and image files for textures.
Can I 3D print a GLB file?
Not directly: slicers expect STL or 3MF in millimetres, and glTF stores metres. Convert it with the GLB to STL converter, which scales it to millimetres and stands it Z up, and check that the mesh is closed first.
Is my model uploaded?
No. The file is read and shown in your browser tab.
