Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Depthue ("we", "us") collects when you use depthue.com and our software, why we collect it, and your choices.
The short version
- Our browser tools process your files on your own device. Images, depth maps, STL and 3MF files you open in a Depthue tool are not uploaded to us.
- Our desktop apps run offline. They do not send your images anywhere.
- When you buy, we receive your name, email and order details from our payment provider, to deliver your download and licence.
- We do not sell your personal information.
What we collect
When you buy a product. Checkout is provided by Whop, which acts as merchant of record. Whop collects your payment details; we never see or store your full card number. We receive your email address, name, the product, the amount paid and an order identifier, and store them to deliver your download, issue your licence key and provide support.
When you contact us. If you email us or use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message.
When you browse. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard request data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability. If we enable analytics, it may use cookies or similar technologies to measure how the site is used. At checkout we also record which page you arrived on and the campaign labels in the link (UTM tags), without identifying you, so we know which pages and guides are useful.
What we do not collect. Files you open in our browser tools stay on your device. The AI model used by the depth map generator is downloaded from the Hugging Face content delivery network; your image is not sent with that request.
How we use information
- To deliver your purchase, licence key and receipt.
- To answer support requests and process refunds.
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
- To understand which pages help people, and improve them.
- To meet legal and tax obligations.
Who processes information for us
- Whop for checkout, payments, refunds and tax calculation.
- Resend to send receipts and support emails.
- Our hosting and database providers to run the website and store orders.
- Analytics providers, if enabled, to measure site usage.
Each processes information only to provide its service to us.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as needed to support your licence and meet accounting and tax rules. Support emails are kept while they are useful for helping you. You can ask us to delete information we are not required to keep.
Your choices and rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing support@depthue.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, and the right to complain to a data protection authority.
Children
Depthue is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
