Relief Studio: cloud terms and privacy

Relief Studio is a separate cloud service for custom relief projects. These details supplement the site terms, privacy policy and refund policy. The lifetime desktop licence terms apply to desktop purchases. A Studio subscription does not purchase a lifetime cloud service.

Local and cloud processing

The free tools under /tools/ and local Studio drafts process images on your device. Local AI downloads model weights from Hugging Face without uploading your photo. Browser drafts are stored in IndexedDB on that device. Clearing browser data can delete them. Export an editable backup when you need a portable copy. Local drafts remain after sign-out and can be opened by another person using the same browser profile.

Choosing cloud generation, Save to cloud, or Share proof uploads the files needed for that operation to private object storage. Cloud depth inference runs on our configured worker. Your source photo, floating-point depth, recipes, job state and revisions are stored with your account. Our application does not use customer uploads to train AI models.

Processors and records

Clerk handles account sign-in and identity. Vercel serves the app. Neon stores project metadata, revisions, billing entitlements and approval records. An S3-compatible storage provider stores files. Railway runs the cloud depth worker when configured. Whop handles recurring checkout and payment details. We do not store full card numbers. The exact hosting and storage region is set by the deployment.

Workspace, sign-in and customer-proof routes do not load our marketing analytics or session replay scripts on a fresh page load. Standard hosting request logs may include addresses and request paths for reliability and security.

Private approval links

A customer-proof link grants anyone holding it access to its relief surface, design parameters and review form. Keep the link private. Links expire after seven days and are revoked by a replacement link or a new saved revision. Private workshop notes and source photos are excluded from the proof. Reviewer names, comments, decisions and decision dates are stored with the revision. This is a design sign-off record, not an electronic-signature service.

Subscriptions and usage

Studio costs $49 USD every 30 days and includes 30 cloud depth jobs per billing period, up to 500 projects and 2 GB private storage. Applicable tax is shown at checkout. The free trial includes 5 cloud jobs, 10 projects and 250 MB storage, needs no card and does not expire. Local edits, rendering and exports do not consume cloud AI allowance. Unused allowance does not roll over. Technical generation failures after the bounded retry process restore the reserved allowance.

Cancel renewal in Billing before the next renewal date. Paid access continues to the current period end. Existing files can be downloaded and projects deleted after cancellation; creating new cloud work is subject to trial limits. Payment-method changes and refunds can be requested through Whop or support@depthue.com. The site's published refund policy applies.

Your content and production

You keep rights to your input files and may use outputs commercially when you have the necessary rights. We need permission to store and process those files to provide the service. You must have permission to upload customer photos and artwork. Depth inference is an estimate and may require editing. A closed mesh, dimensional preview or approval does not guarantee likeness, machinability, printability or a physical result. Inspect tool reach, feature size, stock, machine setup and material before production. No toolpaths are supplied.

Export, deletion and retention

Export editable browser projects from the editor. Export cloud metadata, files and review records from Settings. Delete individual cloud projects from Projects. Settings can remove cloud project data after jobs and active paid periods have ended. The minimal account, billing and trial ledger remains to prevent repeated free allowances and maintain payment records. This does not delete your Clerk identity or desktop orders.

Project data remains until you delete it or request account closure. Abandoned uploads and unreferenced files may be removed after 24 hours by scheduled maintenance. Provider backups and operational logs follow the providers' configured retention. For a full account-closure request, a data copy, corrections, or other privacy questions, email support@depthue.com.

Supported scope

This release supports single-sided coins and rectangular plaques, deterministic bundled-font lettering, 2.5D mesh and height-field export, private revisions and approval links. General CAD, full figurines, double-sided coins, automatic toolpaths, printer control and shared team accounts are outside the release.
